The most important input in the evaluation of a Variable Deferred Annuity is how long the Insured(s) will live. This is especially true for income options such as Annuitization and Guaranteed Income Benefits.
In addition, this is the one area where the policyholder has a big advantage over the Insurance Company. In general, a policyholder has a more complete picture of their current health and lifestyle that are important predictors for longevity.
There are several 3rd party websites that do a very good job at predicting your longevity. They accomplish this by asking questions about your vital statistics and lifestyle habits such as weight, smoker status, alcohol consumption, family history etc.
In keeping with its Privacy Policy, InjAnnuity.Inc. will only estimate longevity for you, based on your current age and gender, using published Social Security Longevity tables. This produces an average expectancy that does not consider other important personal information. Because of this we recommend that the user visit one of these third-party websites and fill in their questionnaires to get a more accurate answer for their longevity estimate.
